About

After teaching high school and middle school English, Fiona returned to her first love: writing fiction. She writes uplifting character-driven fiction, and she's represented by Mara Cobb at Martin Literary Management.

Fiona has an M.A.T. in English literature and education from Smith College and a B.A. in English literature from Hamilton College, where she was the recipient of the Frank Humphrey Ristine Prize and the Rose B. Tager Prize in creative writing. She's a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, an active critique group member, and the Chair of her local library’s Friends Committee.

She lives with her husband, two children, and dog in a vibrant village in upstate New York. The New England shoreline of her childhood still calls to her, though, and it weaves its way into much of her writing.
